TU beats SNS 3-2

TU finally beat SNS, 3 games to 2.

SNS won the first 2 games (Sanity, DM3) and it looked like another SNS win, but TU smoked us on Q1EDGE and managed to win round #4 on DM3 and also won the tiebreaker (DM3).

It was a tough battle, I'm very impressed with both clans performances and the level of maturity throughout the match.

I've sent Spooker my demos and DarkPlaces screenshots so they will be distributed shortly as soon as he collects everything.

By the way, I found a song that really fits into SNS vs TU: "So Cold" by Breaking Benjamin. I listened to it three times on the way home from school because it just fits so well.

Let me clear something up,

I would have let Runescape play as a clan sub, and for a second befor Bryant showed up Destroyer was going to have to take his spot. But I tryed to let all SNS members know that if you wanted in the clan battle that you needed to go to the SNS site and signup for it. There were only 4 people who signed up, Mr.Green, Solecord, Bryant & me and to keep with the tight rules that are/should be reinforced when an event like this happens I wouldn't let anyone take the place of someone who signed up for the battle.

Don't take it personal but the rules need to be followed if theres going to be any kind of structure.

Like I said befor I was about to have to grab a sub but the full roster of signups was able to make it. SNS barly scraped by with getting 4 players signed up.

Next time I would hope to see more people sign up, I was talking with Fuzznut when we were setting up this clan battle and mentioned "Switching up players" so that the 'top guys' wouldn't horde the scoreboard but it didn't work to well and made things complicated. Not to mention that the only people who seem intrested in actually being in a functional clan are Mr.Green, Solecord, Bryant, myself. Destroyer & Runescape I thank you guys for showing up and showing support for your clan. In the future I will try and get the word out that if your not on the clan battle roster you are not eligible to play in the upcomming match.

When? That isn't true at all. (I've requested the console log for the server to show the discussion on the server and it will be posted here if Yellow can get it. That is simply not true.)

FOQ-A, Spooker and Frenzy were causing problems by telling us who we had to play for SNS, which was a crock and otherwise lobbying for skill mismatches the whole night (it started with the Bryant isn't in SNS thing on the server, later followed by lobbying for a 3 on 3, an trying to tell us who was playing for SNS and not).

I wanted to get RuneScape in and attempted to do so twice.

1. On the Edge map Spooker almost put Fuzznut in and I was going to sit so someone else could play. Fuzznut didn't/couldn't go in.

2. In the tiebreaker, I tried to lobby for a 5 on 5 to open up another slot. TU wanted it to stay 4/4.

This wasn't like the other matches where TU had less experienced players participating and made the matchups easier.

We kept Bryant in the entire time because this version of TU had stronger players and we needed the matchups to be even against Frenzy, Stoop and Spooker (no one in SNS quite matches up with Frenzy to begin with).

There was a signup at sns.evilpsp.com and only Phenom, Bryant, myself and Sole signed up for the match and that has been posted in the SNS/TU match thread for about a week.



I think everyone would prefer a format where everyone was able to participate and I've brought this up before in SNS/TU discussions.

Exactly.

SNS wasn't easily at liberty to swap out players because Frenzy and Stoop played every round, Frenzy being almost 2 players by himself (when he plays well, like Matches 4 and 5).

It is true Baker, no offense, I was there, and you can get the logs if you want. In all fairness however, neither of us had signed up on the roster, knowing full well the match was posted. I was offered to play and that was NO PROB when you were afk, and when I declined, rune was told no straightout. He was insulted, and took it just that way...not to mention again that he took out Frenzy last time for the win! hehe

He almost did get a chance to play several times from what I recall. Nothing wrong with trying to keep the teams even / fair and the best guys in, thats just plain ol good competition. Too bad you guys choked with a 2-0 lead! hehe JK

Anyways, its in the past now
