I think Pez has done the best movie ever done, but this was not it.

This movie has flaws:

1. The music
2. I've seen 80% of those tricks before (DM4 grenade thru hole, etc.)

I judge a movie by whether or not I watch it multiple times, and whether or not I want to watch the movie again after it is done.

This movie had some amazing effects, but the Quaking was boring and the music was annoying ... sorry. I can only watch so many air rocket shots and think it is cool.

okay,I watched it just now,and I might come off as selfish or even as having pre-concieved beliefs, but, I find it quite irritating that it announces/promotes Quakeworld when QW already has a towering playerbase,which can single handedly be thanked to the days of DialUp when QW>NQ for most people.

Nice movie,Nice glitter/glam/eyecandy , but royally pisses me off about the whole NQ/QW situation where its a divided Q1 community,and I cant help to be aggrivated where something as nice as this movie promotes QuakeWorld solely. Other than that,great video.

PS : Airshots in QW arent that an impressive feat to accomplish, when its done in NQ,then thats an accomplishment.It's called Leading your Aim which in QW,isnt really required.

Yes, its about promoting QW and we dont even compare our playerbase to q1's! we compare to the bigger games like cs/q3, we want QW to be the biggest since we believe its the best game for competitions.

if a player plays Q1 than Q3 I would be very happy but Ill rather see that player on QW servers.

Since pez who did the flick actually plays QW he thinks the same way as I do I believe.

the community is helping each other out if u didnt know, we are trying to fix the pak1.pak problem togheter (or so I believe)

Yes, its about promoting QW and we dont even compare our playerbase to q1's!

Everyone advocates what they like best and what is in their own interests. I think it is silly to say that a movie done by Quakeworld community shouldn't promote Quakeworld alone.

Quakeworld pushes Quakeworld, single player types push mostly FitzQuake, modders push mostly DarkPlaces and sometimes FTEQW, we push mostly Qrack/ProQuake and increasingly DarkPlaces but I always tell someone with Quakeworld problems/questions to go to Quakeworld.nu or help them if I can.

The size of player base is the responsibility of an individual community and not the responsibility of some other community.

I like NetQuake the best, of course, but regardless of my preferences, every community has contributed a lot to Quake on a whole, the Quakeworld community has done a ton different stuff for Quake.

the thing is everytime i check this forum, i'm hoping the Media section has a thread about a kick-ass NetQuake movie (instead of some retarded internet humour clips)

i asked myself quite a few times why there aren't any?

about DDE3: music wasn't fitting, quite annoying at times.. content was good, with only a few things that made me "WOW!". seen every QW movie prior to this one so it's pretty hard to get me really impressed

really good video, but i liked Mortuality better
