I want to say hello and goodbye at the same time.
I am totally done with normal Quake, and only play Quakeworld nowadays.
Gone over to the dark side hm?
And even that I'm not playing daily anymore. After 14 years of Quake I have sometimes a day that I not play. The slow end of a very hard addiction.
Thanks guys for following this thread so long and all the nice replies.
I haven't quit making things, of course not!! Hahah that's an addiction for life! But I'm not posting it here anymore because I'm no longer attached to normal Quake.

What???!! No! no, no, nooooo! I can understand dropping out of the forums but we can't do without an occassional appearance from you on EuroQuake or Flanders. It just wouldn't be the same. Surely you can pop back once in a while to see your old friends? We need you there to keep Sir Henry under control Otherwise he goes all "Feral" and starts chatting up the fiends before doing horrible things to the zombies. And besides, you can't just leave Peg standing there with his chopper in his hand... so to speak... errrmm... I'll stop now as that's a truly horrible image and I've just been sick in my mouth.

Anyway you can quite clearly see that you can't leave netquake as we need you.

P.S. Personally I think the Telefrag in Painkeep is the nastiest sound in Quake. All the crunching of bone and gutteral agony, nice

But I have no longer my big quake computer.
Only a little laptop. That is what I have to play with. Hahah, horrible really And with losing the big computer I have also lost the thingies to go to normal quake. Even if I would want to have a peek and a chat, I can't.
