Well, personally I think it was a little bit too dark (Doom 3-ish dark) I didn't like that one. Also the video already gave me motion sickness, while original Quake II doesn't, wonder if the actual gameplay on the engine will too
MOD it! Start Point Remake Quake Scout's Journey Quaketastic WhiteDay Quake Terminus UQE

Those models are excellent! It would be nice to be able to use them. Keep updates coming. Any projection on possible completion yet?

its a trick. I learned my self how to use occlusion map with engines which doesn't support it. You can read about it in the couple last posts.

I have not asked. I said with approval. I made these textures through mental ray )))
            ps
You tested my engine with your textures? Results?

I'm use relief mapping parallax (dark places, d3-q4 parallax mod). Strange lighting? Khm... we use lightmaps for ambient, full ppl lighting like d3 look so bad for quake2.

You said you make fake AO for engines that don't support it but I didn't see any info on your method...

I'm assuming you simply layer the AO and the texture and use multiply or some such thing to combine them...yes?

Real good work on the textures, as usual. I feel like a broken record telling you that, though. If I ever think of something uplifting to say that isn't the same thing I always say, I'll let you know.

I enjoyed watching your progress even though I don't play, or even have, Quake 2.

Anyhoo, do what's best for you, good luck with your mods and wish you well.

All the time you have spent complaining about not being able to make stand poses, you could have already completed one or two. I say this because I made an entire rig from scratch last night. A semi-complex one, at that. You have been voicing your disdain for not being able to create stand poses for more than one night.

Focus your energy on accomplishing the goal, man. Your mentality shouldn't be: "[sourface] :sigh: all this crap I gotta do."

it should be: "I'm an intelligent and talented guy. Let's get it done."

i have now some problem since one or two moths
That is far too long to ever have any problem EVER! Two whole months and you haven't figured this out? I could see two whole days but 2 whole months is like project insubordination.

I told you and told you to use duplicates, mayne! I even explained why. Now you know first-hand why.

Cmon brah. I'm not a pro but I'm not inexperienced either.

Then again, why does it matter that you foked a frame in this model? The only point of what you are doing is to make a new texture so, just apply the texture when it is done to an unfoked version of the model file....right? Of course it's right.

Can't you delete that frame from the animation (or move it to the end of the sequence) and just carry on?
