  • Crysis 2

Now I wanna say that I didn't like the first Crysis. Now this second one at first I was like damn Crysis 1 flashback I was about to give up on it but the eye candy was so good I kept playing and am glad I did. Once the story picks up it gets good and all I have to say is, this game is the shiznt. I might give Crysis 1 another try after I get done with #2. What are you thoughts on Crysis 2?

The beta was fun. But the demo was horrible.

Ha! I had the leaked beta version, it was so horrible looking (debug mode) after the first map I gave up on it but its what I needed to get pumped about it. I think all good games get leaked just like Half Life 2 did, I had the beta for that to but still I ran out and purchased the game as soon as it came out.

I was pretty skeptical about it. I liked the first one, but the multiplayer demo seemed a bit shaky to me. Glad I gave it a chance though. The singleplayer campaign is fun and a pretty good length for a modern shooter(no 4 hour campaign like any recent Call of Duty game). And it's a lot easier for your system to run compared to the first game.

True I think it runs smother then the first one.

haha me too. I just now tried capturing some gameplay in Fraps, and it has some shitty ass flickering in it. I'm checking into that right now o_O

Mindz, that flickering is a problem for most crossfire\sli users. You can either disable crossfire, OR download the 11.3 application profiles from amd. Once I used those in tandem with either 11.2 or 11.4(preview build) drivers, the light flickering went away. I seem to get better performance out of the 11.4 preview build, so I'd try that first.

Ive been playing Crysis for the last few months on the pc. I just assumed it was all about the graphics from everything I saw and read about the game. But I have to say, Crysis is a great game. The SP is alot of fun, good story. Ive seen a couple memorable moments as I was playing it. And the graphics of course are amazing.

Ive played the demo MP on Crysis 2. It seems fun, but I've been to the store a few times and saw the game and I havent bought it. Not sure why. It just doesnt excite me like the last few Ive bought.
If you see 427 playing Quake thats me.

Without EA and ATARI , and other "PowerHouse" publishing companies, we would go without awesome games.

Ive been a NFS fan since day 1 on 3DO!!
