I take your "not answering" as a yes for smoking. This is the badest you could do to your computer and of course to yourself. Clean the Tower/Fans/Heatsinks at least all 3 months with a vacuum cleaner. As cooler the hardware runs as longer it lasts. Idle temp here 28�C, full load about 75�C.

Yea, I smoke. I also cough too, but thats in relation to the first part of my reply.

I usually clean every other month, it just so happened that I wasn't moving my tower to a workspace , therefor I couldn't see the dust bunny collection building underneath the plastic shroud.

Sorry, I was busy playing Witcher2,as I havent been able to enjoy the game with the knowledge of heat issues. I spent like 1hour+ the other day cleaning them both. They would be idling cooler but I had to flash modified bios's to both of them because of problems with stock settings & overclock settings.

I take good care of my hardware, I just don't normally MOVE my entire tower and disconnect all its cords and cables,which is what was required to actually SEE the build up.
