i don't even want to bring my buns into this thread. I just rather have an interview that is geared toward Quake tactics and pc setup.
Like maybe a players favorite dm3 position, or mouse setup, configs and operating system.
No offense, but I feel that godly-enoch or rook would be more appropriate to interview first for my proposed type of interview, since they are highly skilled quake players and I am interested to know their setups. The title of 'Best quake player' is subjective, until we can all log onto a lan, with equal playing fields and duke it out.
But I think most people will agree that Enoch and rook can frag with some of the best (Thresh, Reptile..)

I agree, it would be hella interesting and at the same tie it would make virtually no sense. Who the hell am I?
-"We're live and on the street with THE Gypsy. None of you may know who that is. That's OK, there is no reason why you should, he is just some random guy that showed up."
-"So Gypsy could you state your real name"
~"Michael"
-"And may I refer to you by that for the rest of this interview?"
~"You have no choice."
-"I see, well you've been around here a few years and you seem to know quite a bit about the modding scene. Is there anything you would like to share with new modders, that are just getting their feet wet?"
~"no."
LOL - Im JK, it wouldn't be that F'd up.

ok...send me some questions
edit: continued fake interview from above
-"cmooon, you never f'n shut up. Surely there is something you would like to share."
~"It's a tough ol' .world"
I know world isn't an entity field, but it didn't stand out as a QC reference without itLast edited by MadGypsy; 05-25-2013, 06:46 PM.

A: I had seen Quake on a display PC in a Wal-Mart and had to have it. I had the demo until Christmas of 1996, when I received the full blown copy at the age of 16.
I love this interview series idea. Whoever is responsible for it, +1000
anyway still reading the interview, back to lurking I go!

Gotta say I disagree with some of the constructive criticism of the first interview, in that I thought it was well done and played to its intentions. Meaning, if they wanted to get some info that mindzy, out of sheer humility, was unlikely to disclose, then they should've went to someone who has known mindz 'behind the scenes' such as Baker.
That was clearly NOT the intent here, so the 'bombshell' dropped by Baker was excellent supplementation to the main dish. It was really a great read, well rounded, and I liked the lightning round inclusion. Very well done and made me happy & reminisce.
Never played on IHOC myself but remember seeing it at the top of that site we all used to go to in the 90s to see server lists. Can't remember the url but just the vague sense that it had to do with Minnesota. Anyway, strong show Planetnine.
