  • Bored at work.

UltraV. I finally got to play it and to my disappointment I was stuck with clan arena. Did not enjoy it one bit. Anyone know where this map can be played at DM? I'd love to play some DM at bomber, like make a 26001 or something...as my ping is ave. 45-50, and at shmack it's around 70-80.

I'm thinking about posting my picture also, one of me and my girlfriend.. slightly afraid to after seeing some of those people on there.

Well I started working recently, they are making online gambling a felony now so I had cashed out my winnings into a savings and now I'm working... it sucks! don't really need the job but I need something to occupy my time.

The only modes I know Bomber supports is CAx and Airshot.

        Yes ...

dm.clanhdz.com, any OFQSP server and quake.intertex.net:26002 if it weren't down (argh! )

HDZ and OFQSP are cheat-free servers, so Yellow No. 5, Hydro and anyone else who uses JoeQuake/QRack or DarkPlaces can't play there.

Intertex:26002 is an awesome DM mod running the QuakeOne map pack (identical to bomber) and for some reason it is DOWN! I've been dying for some DM on UltraV.

Map downloads: HDZ and OFQSP map downloads

The intertex 26002 mod that is down will soon reappear, on the same server as bomber. Also, CAx (running on bomber) has practice mode.

And I have proquake and qrack setup exactly the same so I can switch between the two.

Yeah, America basically blows the huge one, where the rich get richer, and where the poor get poorer. The government isn't happy enough with the taxes they collect so they can dump it on Iraq and other countries, they have to make stricter laws on online gambling because they have very little control over the taxation of winnings there. I plan on claiming it on my taxes.......why can't they just find a better way of regulation? We are the only country I know of that spends billions of dollars and 100's of lives to kill terrorists. I am sometimes ashamed of being an American because I can't imagine how much other countries must hate us. Where was the government after Katrina? Mr. Bush is the truest moron I have ever seen, and being from a southern republican area (Atlanta) I usually flip people off or honk at whomever has the W sticker....Yes, I talk just as much shit in real life as I do in the game I respect the soldiers fighting over there 100% because they are giving their life away to what they were told is right, but I have a hard time respecting anyone who thinks that the war is going to do any good.

What gets me is I hear nearly every day about soldiers getting in serious trouble for killing innocent people. This isn't Mario....we can't tell the good guys (happy, bright colors) to the bad guys (dark colors with mean looks on their faces) These poor soldiers must be so confused..Shit if we could get into trouble for killing innocent people, President Bush should have about 127,394 life sentences. Oh well, at least I'm seeing the number of W stickers decreasing heavily, but I will always laugh at the fools that re-voted this toolbox in. If you voted President Bush for his second term, you are the biggest moron with no sense of a sliver of intelligence. That is all there is to it. Mr. Bush will burn in hell.

Anyways, Baker.. I'd gladly let you die a few times in Ultrav

I think Al Gore would have made a better president than the monkey on the stage now. Perhaps you should reply with some DETAIL to prove you're point Let's start a political arguement

I can see Bush in the group meeting now... "My fellow Americans, I have come up with a genious plan that will compensate for the money lost finding those weapons of mass destruction. <insert texas joke here>. Ok, you ready? Make Americans pay tripple for their water. You fellow Americans can thank me later"

Bush must wonder to himself who he can piss off next.... Here is a short agenda of his presidency...

Tell your country you will attack Afghanistan and fail miserably, so we then attack Iraq on the fallacy of the idea of weapons of mass destruction.

Brainstorm the highest profitable company possible should oil prices rise exponentially, start wars against our oil providers, and become best friends with someone who is CEO of Halliburton, make him your top leader if your cabinet.

Give the towel heads 100% control over our ports.

Declare social security will not pay out funds in 40 years, but continue collecting it anyway

Improve laws against sex offenders, while leaving the Mexican borders open to allow 1000's of sex offenders in annually.

Give any existing Mexicans in the country 100% health benefits, while the average working American can hardly afford these benefits.

Look like the biggest moron ever while giving speaches.

Pull some strings down in Florida to win my initial Presidency, Thank goodness Jeb Bush is related to me!

Investigate our treaty with the UN and piss them off...........ASAP.

I've found debating politics on the internet is not worthwhile. You won't change someone's opinion on a message board and usually the arguments end up nowhere. I have a political forum set up on my CreedFeed website and I started out posting in there with other people but after a couple weeks of arguments, it ended up being worthless and a waste of time so I've vowed to never debate people again on the computer. So, to C*S, I'm not going to bother formulating a debate about Gore. I was mostly joking in my posts (although I do feel strongly against Gore) as a response to Mr. Maggy.

What's funny here is that Bush has been working on methods of protecting our borders and keeping illegals out of the country. While existing Mexicans may be receiving health care benefits now, Bush has been working to prevent this from happening in the future. Meanwhile, democrats have been pushing legislation to continue to allow illegal immigrants coming over to our country with no restrictions (which in turn would raise the number of illegals who could be reaking free health benefits). So I don't get why you are criticising the current administration on this issue when it would be ten times as worse with democrats in office.

That's a complete mischaracterization. First of all, this whole immigration issue has been drummed up by Republicans as *the issue* for this the election year, because they believe they can win on it. If the Democrats were in charge, policies on immigration would have remained the same as they were prior to Bush's ascension into office, and they've remained the same until very recently anyway, so 10 times worse comes from what? Assuming the Democrats, the second they got into office would open the border to everyone?

The other point is there's, at least on the issue of immigration, no united front in either the Democrat or Republican camp. The Republicans drummed up this issue but were rather surprised to find their own camp couldn't agree on a single way to address it. Likewise the static from the democrats is all over the board.

Basically everyone agrees on the basic points, you must stop people coming in illegally, meaning enforce the law. Secondly, you can't realistically deport every illegal already here, our economy would simply collapse, so the 'fast track to citizenship' as in the Bush plan is needed in some measure.

The plan Bush is now implementing is really just a clone of President Carter's tiered amnesty program coupled with really an illusion of enforcement (Stationing troops on the border doesn't actually do much, but it does give the immigration fanatics something to be happy about).

Secondly, I'd rather have a box turtle in office than Bush. Plus, John Kerry rocks.

Yeah, a big waste of time. No one changes their mind and only rarely have I seen an intellectually stimulating political conversation on the internet.

I remember in 2004 being very disappointed with Bush on a number of counts, and I thought about voting for John Kerry, but he was such a douche, had a weirdo for a wife and instead of talking about the issues, kept talking about "how he had served in Vietnam" 30 years ago (weeee!).

Everyone said in 2004 "this is the most important election ever" while I thought it was the most meaningless election ever. I skipped the hype and didn't vote for anyone :d :d

I think this country reached the state somewhere in 1990's of a lack of work ethic. I think this happens in all successful countries where due to overwhelming wealth leads to a form of decay.

The difference between the average American and an illegal immigrant is that the illegal immigrants have goals and aspirations and are willing to work hard.

But like Solecord said, talking politics on the internet is basically pointless and maybe not even interesting. It's all been said before. :d
