Direct Shots or Splash Shots

The thing about directs is.... if you never try for the hard shots then you will never make them. Exeptional aimers get that aim because they try for the hard shots.

Its nice to get direct shots. I believe ID intended gl/rl to be splash weapons and the rest direct weapons. If you can get directs with them though, you can blow ur opponents heart up out of his chest elery on.

The airshot mod on bomber.quakeone.com helps greatly with your direct shot and RL prediction skills. Say you bounce someone in the air, try to hit them with a direct RL shot while they are falling. Keep on doing it and eventually you'll be bouncing people around in the air.
