People sure are picky about their names. Bank will not be called bank, scar3crow will not be called Scar3crow. Although I admit it does look stupid with the S being capitalized.

You calling me bank is like me calling you thorax. It's not nice, and it makes the person saying it look dumb because it shows they cannot type simple capital letters.

That was tested with these sets. The PNG and TGA load times didn't take different amounts on time on the timer.
In fact, based on some libpng.dll tests I did, the evidence strongly supports that the PNG sets I have built load faster than the TGA version of the identical sets I made.
I did these tests around November of last year
DarkPlaces' TGA loader was rewritten only a couple months ago, it loads more than 2x faster than it used to, very possibly a lot more than 2x faster in terms of CPU work (which only matters if disk I/O isn't an issue).
Note that TGA inside pk3 (renamed zip archives) come out about the same size as PNG in pak and the pk3 decompression goes faster than the PNG decompression.
