.. Dude.. Vis needs to chill the fuck out. Hes abusing his power. He even told me he will abuse it all he wants to. I will not quit fuckin around with fuzz. Fuzz + me joke around hella. I have nothing against vis, but I find this comment a bit ironic. Last time I played at bomber there was a fairly large game. I joined in an existing game (there were about 7 people on i think?) After a few rounds of play some people started spamming. A few players, myself included, kept trying to tell people to shut up. Then someone with some random name I can't remember kept spamming even more and more. I say 'keep spamming and you'll be kicked' and then the person dares me to kick him. This is when someone informs me that the person was actually vis. It's great that he runs the servers for all of us, kudos to him, but when he breaks the "rules" himself....

I've never tried CA. I wouldn't know the first thing about it. I can see it now, me jumping on not understanding what I should or should not do and the next thing I know BAM, I'm banned. I guess that would be ok though, I'd never go back.

I've been reading things about how great it is from tons of people here. Truth is, I don't think I'll try CA at any given time with all the crap that some people have experienced so far. It's not worth it. I'll stick to WoW and play Quake in my off time.

CA is of course a team based game, and therefore takes some cooperation to run smoothly. Bomber is more heavily admin'ed than say, shmack, but shmack is ffa and the only thing people can do to fuck with people is accuse everyone who isn't using keyboard aim of cheating. And besides ca needing some order for it to work, I'd like bomber to have less of the trolling that people get on shmack.

Thresher: As I told you on the server, if vis kicked you, either for a good reason or a misunderstanding, the best thing to do probably isn't to come back on and badmouth him, call him names etc. You did that serveral times, and then got banned. This should be an easy thing to avoid in the future.

Fuzznut: Mod admin bans last only till the map change. Also, I don't consider thresher getting banned for repeatedly harassing and insulting the person who generously donates the server a "fiasco".

C*S: I'll explain to you what the problem was. You came on the server during the middle of a 1v1v1 game. We thought, sweet, a 4th, lets reset and play 2v2. After maybe one round, you abruptly left the game. We reset and again played 1v1v1. You connected again, we reset again, and resumed the 2v2. A minute later, again you disconnected. So I asked you via yim "hey are you playing or not!?" You came back on as a couple others came on too. They joined existing teams, but instead of you joining the team short 1 player, you created a 3rd team, at which point EVERYONE on the server that you had now spent 10 minutes pissin off called you a retard. After ten minutes of you fucking up the game, yes then I kicked you.

CA isn't that hard to figure out. We have serveral newbs, a keyboarder, a 10 year old, etc who play the server regularly. None of these people have any trouble or need more than a simple explanation of how ca works. If players connect to the server and don't know which team needs a player most, they just ask and someone tells them.

I was also around when Yellow kicked (or banned I don't recall which) a newb I've never seen before because he/she wasn't using the RocketLauncher as their main weapon. That person could have been new to Quake, no need to be so strict.

I spend a lot of time helping newbs find, download, and setup what they need to play. The only person I have kicked for running around with a shotgun is Haze, who was doing it just to fuck with people and harm his own team.

People have been and will continue to be kicked/banned for: Continously interfering with the game, Repeatedly insulting and attacting players, and cheating. As for the chat spamming, I'll turn on pq_spam_rate to temp mute anyone who spams text.

If someone has an issue with admin, act like a big kid and report it without calling them a cocksucker, quoting southpark vigina insults, or otherwise being a whiney forum whore.

Haha, oh shit that's too bad~. I recall playing 1 or 2 matches before leaving. Thresher wanted to 1v1 me in port 26001 but never showed up so I was running back and forth to see where the fuck he was. Not my problem you were making assumptions. And this pretty much answers my question I asked Baker above.
