I agree deathmatchmode 1 is a pathetic excuse for a fun match, people running the 2 rls/shaft and gl means that even with 200-200 health you are a sitting duck, unless you are uber-haxxored-pak2-leet-aimbot, this is why it was abandoned many eons ago in any mod but american netquake (and I can only believe it still exists because American deathmatchers like to own each other??). Ofcourse dmm1 is fine for 4v4 team games, but duel....??? i beg to differ.

About the matches paradise, i really don't care. it was the first time in over 2 years id played with a ping over 40, really hate dmm1 and knew you weren't a dmer. tbh. i've not seen what i call "master duelers" outside of quakeworld europe/australia, and i've played since about 98. Again i believe any1 can beat any1 in dmm1, it's a lame mode. I would also love to see some1 kill some1 with shaft/rl/gren with only the super nail gun, since i've taken both rls/shaft/ssg/gren/nailgun. so unless you own with boomstick and sng...

I've seen you play and you are very good.

But I've also only seen you play on Rune Quake servers. That's sort of like a big kid who likes to play teeball against little kids instead of heading to one of the servers where better players hang out.

Netquake has too little good players to make it a game to master...
Thats why i played all these years QW from the start it was born.
Netquake can still enjoy me tho.

Practice Mode Rules...! For about 1 minute, then it sucks too!

I wouldn't mind playing some quick 5 minute 1v1 rounds with a group of people on DM6 sometime. We used to do that all the time and it was fun.

The funnest thing I think we ever did on CRMOD was load up "End" Map, have team health protect on in practice mode. All go same color and try to knock others in lava till they were dead. whoever had the "least" negative score won.
It was great when you had at least 6 or 7 people. I even threated to make a mod of it. Put all the spawn points on the island and block off the walkway around the lava.. haha..
