Ignoring idiotic comments is not "running" . The more you or anyone else adds to this enjoyment of theirs the more it goes on. If you gave the clue that he/she is spoiling your game he/she feels justified as you spoiled their game. Next question you feel is how did I spoil his/her game? Look at this point of view. You have 5 players in a server that they like.. All more or less of equal play styles. In jumps Baker (just an example) Cleans the map.. Fine..Cleans another 2-3 Maps.. Not by small margins.. by huge margins. So do those 5 players who had a nice game leave? Or does the Mop get a clue and move on to a tougher floor or sit a map or two? Doesn't happen the Mop stays and they feel disrespected. One more then other who just quit the game and move on. What fun could possibly be there for that Map Cleaner? Other then seeing how fast they can clear a server. And what else can they possibly think other then you deliiberately jumped in the game to spoil their game? Over and Over again. Sorry, Rude begets Rude. IHH will go on and on but it seems more or less to get you to leave. I could be dead wrong but I hear the complaints from both sides. And keep in mind they aren't looking at just 1 Baker.. They have what 7 Bakers that mop the map?

Slot should just re-activate the chat spam. Then when the constant Bot/Complaint chatter begins the person would be booted. That would eliminate spammers like bwahahaha or whatever his name is as well.

The "vote-off" system wouldn't work. Why? Because then those Five players would vote YOU off. The idea of using an IRC vote type system would be nice if the program can support such a feature. Much like the Ignore system in chat clients. I just don't see that as a feature they can add or surely would have done so before now.

There has to be a simple solution to this problem. I love playing you all but I would prefer a fun game without all the bitching. You get ticked because they bitch.. They get ticked because you don't wring the Mop.. Go Figure.

Perhaps if Slot created a Shmack2 and put a Win 2 sit 1 rule into effect or something. At least they could find a good game even with you in there. Somewhere there has to be a happy medium. Ok.. you can blast me now. ;Þ

I win 1 or 2 and leave. I've been on the receiving end of the invincible player that won't leave" and don't do that to people.

Haha, IHATEHUMANS playing as 1-800-EATSHIT started calling me a cheater while I was testing out DarkPlaces some more and trying to taunt me because he was angry about this thread.

I laugh because I have rhino skin and really am not interested in what some powerless used-to-be-an-admin has to say on a server.

IHATEHUMANS, if you read this, remember that it was mostly me that caused a far bigger, more abusive and more serious troll who also ran the TLTQ.com site (Jean-Luc) to blow a gasket (and actually sabotage his own site and quit Quake, to everyone's rejoice).

Well, first Slot Zero would never ban you because you don't cheat. Second, I would have to say that Slot Zero would easily beat you at Shmack, RA and DM.

Back in the early days of cheat-free when CRMOD first went cheat-free, presumably went CRMOD 6.4 was being finalized, he would easily win FFA games there.

What seems like long ago now, I banned an anonymous player who happened to be Slot Zero from Shmack thinking he was a bot because I couldn't understand how someone react so quickly and aim so accurately. I was baffled when he reconnected (he unbanned himself, of course ).

Slot Zero played and beat players that had played against and lost to players that played with the likes of Thresh. Although I wasn't around back then, some like to say the Thresh of back then would easily lose to the best players of today, but I don't believe that because Quake at the time had hundreds of thousands of players and therefore a far higher talent level on a whole.

Consequently, I have never seen Slot Zero lose. It doesn't mean he hasn't, but I have never seen it.

I used to think Slugnut might be Slot Zero But I am pretty convinced Slugnut isn't Slot Zero since his IP address is all wrong. :d :d

Oh that's that one kid that keeps calling everyone a cheater. He uses such phrases as:

"QuadRaptor why cheat?"
"Poor QuadRaptor"
"Has To Cheat"

and so on and so on.

Just ignore that tard, I've run into him on numerous occasions and he claims he'll have Slot ban (insert name here) for "cheating" or he'll crash your computer or some shit, and then he'll leave.

He uses some random names so I can't remember what he goes by but they're always something dumb.

I use Qrack and turn off the chat sound, I also turn off the notify time so people trying to talk to me have to wait till I'm dead or till everyone else is dead

I played back when Thresh was playing and actually played against Reptile and some others who played him. Iv'e been in a teamgame match and watched the U4 guys scrimage LEX... I would say that their skillset was equal if not better then what we have today. Although i was more of a newb back then and I've never been to good at DM. I can at least touch the guys who play DM now and I had a hard time getting a frag against the old guys..I was also an HPB back then.. HA.. So i guess I can't judge to well... Watching them though.. They did all the same things that quakers do now.. They were a lot more organized in TG's though.. Even the Pick up games.. A lot of pick-up games now adays turn into a FFA...
