I'll add the maps you indicated, thanks for the list (Read below: please double confirm you want these 9 maps added). I very much didn't like the idea of a 50MB zip and 50 MB installer for Threewave.
What you should do is after careful consideration LOCK IN STONE the maps you want and be intent on not changing it.
That's what was done with the QuakeOne maps pack. It was locked in stone in May 2006; it has not been changed since no matter how much someone wanted to add a map. This creates reliability and predictibility for players, it also rewards them for downloading them.
If you alter the map packs, players will have to re-download them; they do not like doing this; it makes them very angry and creates resistance.
With that in mind, are you certain those are the 9 maps you want? Have you play tested them enough to be certain of the choices?
Building the zip and a companion EZ Installer is not a great deal of effort, my concern is more that if you change your mind on 9 maps that it would upset players.
