    Papasmurf: In pretty much any engine expect DP: shoot 1 button, then bunny or grenade jump over the gap.

    Kick e2m4 out. Another map bug, + the least interesting of the 6 remaining

            Scratch off e1m3 and e3m2.

            I personally enjoy e4m3 for 1v1 crctf matches and e1m1 never gets old IMHO

                  e4m3 is the most imbalanced 1v1 ctf map. but then again, 1v1 ctf is pretty dumb.

                            Wow, E4M3 is my favorite map too. I wouldn't have guessed that it would be the winner though. The graveyard full of Zombies is incomparable to anything else in Quake. It's like Night of the living dead. I love that map.

                            I think this thread should have been done differently, though. You should allow people to vote for a map a day (or 2), and add up the points. You can then set a deadline, like 2 weeks, and see which map has the most points by that deadline. Or, you could give each map like 5 points, and let people take away 2 points each day. Killing a map for just one vote is somewhat harsh.

                              My favorite as well. I think the combination of easy-to-get rocket launchers and the long corridors make this a fun and crazy map.

                              And yes, the graveyard is awesome too!

                                I also like it because it's one of the few that has spawning monsters when you least expect it. Every map in Quake follows a rule: you grab a key, touch a switch, or collect a power-up, and monsters spawn around you. In E4M3, the demons spawn near the beginning when you least expect it. The Scrags also spawn out of the windows, which is cool.
