The fiends in the starting area are a really clever map idea. The first one appears after you hit the button in the room with the ogres and knights, and then each one in turn appears 30 seconds after you kill the previous one. There's a total of 8 on hard/nightmare.
    16:03:04 <gb> when I put in a sng, I think I might need nails
16:03:30 <gb> the fact that only playtesting tells me that probably means that my mind is a sieve

Funny how most people love e4m3, hate the rest of e4 - yet he did pretty much all of e4 (all iirc). He also did a sizeable chunk of Doom2 and a fair sure of Doom. Good ol Sandy.

I like all the E4 series except E4M1. The E4s seem to rely on map geography impeding your progress for the most part vs. the E2 and E3 series which rely mostly on keycards to do it.
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

I love all the eXm1 sub series. Haven't been through e4m1 in a while though, but I love all the swimming. Makes up for the shame of failing* SEAL selection.

*I never actually tried. Technically thats even worse.
