as far as catching shit from others, at least make a legit demo of me cheating like this one, dont just randomly demo me and say its prove of me cheating, cuase im prolly not cheating, and the reason i ever stated it was ok to cheat on a pub server was becuase nobody was doing shit about people cheating, nor would they acknowledge people were able to cheat

You was aiming at the guy getting out of H20? I just replayed that demo and watched it thoroughly without opengl32 wallhacks turned on , and used a FOV 90 to give it a more leniant outlook for debate.

First off, the guy getting out of H20 ,with FOV90 , is clearly seen heading to Mound,saying your aiming at the guy getting out of H20 when you see he's headed to Mound is ridiculous.


I just find it odd that you have admitted to cheating,admitted to toggling in this demo,and get pissy when people give you shit about cheating.It makes no sense,its like getting caught having intercourse with the same sex (male or female) and then get mad when the gossip gets around that your a gay/lesbian.You have a right to be irritated,but to expect less,is completely ridiculous.

I personally know I would enjoy playing more if that were implemented on CAx servers. Really I would like to see that on every server.

Ironically, this cannot be implemented in ProQuake cheat-free. If you modify the server engine, you have to custom build it which means the server engine isn't digitally signed and the server will refuse to run in cheat-free mode. (Isn't that funny and ironic).

Thats cut from a convo with another IRC Quaker , just thought I'd bring that to light. Avalanche is quite remarkable,and could easily solve all the problems with hacks in one fatale swoop.If he's given the source,rest assured every hack I've obtained will be sent to him,and its a decent little collection,it doesnt include aimbots or dodgebots,or any type of bot period,but everything else,yea,I got it,plus some shit that probably hasnt been seen by many people.

I've got the only opengl32.dll created,ever,for Quake1 specifically.

I don't see how JPG is entitled to give up the source to security module he made, he has no obligation to do so. I don't see any reason to think less of someone because they choose to do what is within their right to do. That's a really bad reason to have ill feelings towards someone. Especially someone who contributed a lot of ideas for improvement of the engine and deathmatch in general to Quake.

But why would we need the source for qsecurity.dll? It is not unique. And it is a simple enough process as well. Many games have security modules including Quakeworld. They are not difficult to make.

But as long as the servers are SENDING player positions to the clients that they ARE NOT able to see, there is no way to stop that particular form of cheat. Chuck defeated cheat-free years ago by tweaking his video card settings, of all things.
