Should Disco be permabanned from QuakeOne servers?

I know this one will hit home for a lot of people. I finally figured out how to make a poll, I think. We'll see.

I want this to act as a petition to Yellow and whoever else manages quake servers to permaban Disco, or at least ban him for a long long time.

Oh yah, and we need a votekick and/or voteban.

Everytime I play with disco, I see nothing wrong with him. There's probably times he's acted up, but I don't see him playing "gay" anymore?

BTW, votekick is useless, anybody deserving of votekick comes crawling riiight back. Giving players the power to ban? Not going to happen.

Then how do you propose that people deal with troublemakers when the admins won't do anything about it? A solution needs to be made, because this situation is ridiculous.

Nothing disco has done is worthy of a ban. He's not cheating, he doesn't trash talk; everything he does is a legal part of quake; just because you and stung don't like his playing style is no reason to try to get him banned. Its completely ridiculous to ban someone for choosing a color thats PART OF THE MOD. And if he camps, SO WHAT? The majority of CA rounds end in someone camping sng or ra when its 3v1. If you don't like his playing style, find a way to deal with it; why should everyone have to play the way you want them to?

dude, disco is awesome; seriously, he is one of the few people on rage with a decent personality. the fact that someone is calling for him to be banned reflects poorly on rage, not on disco

His entire reason for being there seems to be to piss everyone off. All of what you're saying is true, but when you put it all together, you have an asshole who is deserving of a ban.

Worse off is that he parades around the server on other people's clan names for no reason. He also purposely goes AFK after choosing a color. If three teams are enabled, he will go the third team color and go AFK. He CC's when people tell him not to. He generally does stupid shit that he knows he's not supposed to do. Why should we have to put up with it?

Yellow banned eieio when he was merely trying to illustrate how lame disco's shit is. Why ban eieio and not disco, when they were doing the same thing?

I strongly disagree with this statement. In fact, this the key reason why I have not implemented a vote-kick.

I think most of the people voting no have not seen the shit I've seen disco do... that's the only way I can explain this.

I demo every game I play. For me to even sift through it to find 2 or 3 really good examples would take hours. I really don't want to spend hours on something like that. I will see if I can catalog a few things though as time goes on.

I think disco acts nice around yellow to keep from getting banned. He does some pretty lame things.
