    Not at all, take it this way..

    The majority of players on speaknow are experienced enough and have played long enough to look at their ammo.

    40 rockets is still a lot, 50 by its self takes an extremely long time to run out unless you RJ a lot like me, cata, or spoon.

    I disagree that a lot of people will be down to SNG and shotgun, because how often do you see bad players left at the end of the round?

    Smart players will conserve ammo as it dwindles down to help kill an opponent, thats a must.

      Either way, 50 rockets is still good, but 50 grenades are not necessary, we all know that.

        Yeah i agree with you on the grenades... Do you find yourself being low or run out of rockets on speaknow? I have never had this problem before but on speaknow i ran out of rockets 3 times lastnight... I rocket jump through the maps a lot.. But normally dont run out of rockets.

          Not at all, because I mix shaft in so much.

          I use rockets strategically, if the player is far, inside of water, and to splash off certain walls or poles. Mostly I use the rocket to bounce the player or get him away from me so I can begin to shaft. So I never find myself running out of rockets, my main use for them ofcourse is rocket jumping.

          I find I can rocket jump for almost the entire round without running out of rockets.

            I thought I heard this idea in this thread but I couldn't find it. You could have a low max of rockets like 40 and slowly regenerate them, same with other ammo. Shells and nails would regen fast, rockets and cells would regen slow.

            Again, I swear I saw this idea somewhere so I take no credit for the idea. But it seems like a good fix for those who like to RJ a lot instead of conserve ammo.

                I say we all play more ctf. I think ctf has the largest variety of skill level depending if you are a protector of the flag a grabber or just a floater. I never got bored of ctf and i can never find a game anymore.

                  There's greater versatility in CA, no doubt. Individuals still have particular algorithms in terms of how they go about their business though, and I still tend to be able to figure them out over time.

                    Also: there has to be a way to reprogram the Grenade Spam Activation bs for 5-6 grenades per round.

                      this goes along with what sting said. in old school ca with 8x axe like on erols and satanist there was no gl spam cutoff originally, but with the new caplus mod they had lowered it to 4 gls for spam. why cant we just take that number and cut it in half to 2 gl's for spam and anything over that you lose your grenade launcher. it would reduce overall game spam still give players more rockets and not have the 2 newbs who hid and spammed the entier last round fighting to the death with shotguns

                        I dont like this idea because sometimes i get bored and just use my GL and thats it. I don't spam them i just fire them like I would rockets.

                          yeah but you arent freaking playing that way normally....its a good idea you dont have to seperate ammo from gl and rl...just reduce the spam cutoff point so everyone is happy

                              Yea cutting the GL count down to 2 is a good idea. I don't care if Souless doesn't like the idea because he can't "fuck around" when hes bored with gl only.

                              Something has to be done about the spam in CAX, almost every game I can see doorways being bombarded with GL spam unless its 2v2 3v3 with people who play very strategically are on which is not to often...

                              Usually you get the average players who sometimes resort to below standard playing styles... this is what the lmit would be ment for... not so Souless can get bored from playing the game and only use GL, if you are bored go do something else
