For myself, I can only say, I was at a buddies on a foreign system I knew nothing about. But anyhow, Slugnut IS a good player, Omicron I have no idea why you keep shit talking Slugnut. The guy plays well, very well. Period. Just because you dislike him doesn't mean he's not good. That's where you always fuck up OC. You don't like somebody, so you just proclaim they suck. No logical reasoning to it.

As for the Basy/YC thing, Youthic has NEVER cheated. I've played with YC (Whysee) for years. He's a 3wave vet with us, and by us I mean Rampage, Omicron, etc. Highly doubt YC is cheating.

Slugnut isn't the best, but he is definitely one of the best all around players I've seen, I don't personally know him but he seems level headed and skilled at the same time which definitely increases the fun factor when you play vs him.

I remember me and Frenzy having a EFF war a while back on some new maps, our EFFS were pretty high, I don't want to be banned just for having fun on a server!

What about enabling a vote-ban for normal players, that way, if the majority feels someone is cheating, they just get the boot? give the players some power over their gaming experience!

I also don't see why YC would cheat, he already has an insanely low ping, though I don't know him personally either.

He's garbage. I've never considered him anything special, he's about as good as goblin, except goblin is new and slug claims hes been playing for years.

I slap myself for not recording a demo of him last week. I was too wow-ed by his gameplay, and I have watched A LOT of players. I can certainly say that he is mesmerizing to watch and displays very charismatic gameplay.

I do not compare players. OC is good as well skill-wise. I learn from all. In life you take what is good from all and not put the other person down when you lose calling them cheater, names and other kinds of lame shit, that is just all babyish.

If you really want to show your superiority - which is petty into the first place - you do it through actions - i.e. your gameplay by bettering him and not belittling him with insults. Slugnut wins without saying anything and then you turn to cursing out, everybody sees it, you do it everywhere, on the servers and even here.

Next time, when I catch him, I will post a direct demo of him for all to judge.

I think when people are banned for bot suspicions then you should make it public. We banned X person because of complaints from XY people. List all the peoples names that supposedly complained about them then post some demos others can see.

And for the record, Whysee has been around forever, he's just good, played with him in multiple mods, and mostly in CTF and hes just good. IT HAPPENS, Quake has been out for 12 years, someones bound to be GOOD at it by now.

I know basy better than anyone here, with the exception of Youthic. The first CA clan he was in was mine, in [R] (revelations). That was when he just started playing CA. He told me he cheated and I didn't really care at the time.

1-2 years ago when basy IM'd me telling me quake was still alive, I came back and started playing. I didn't realize he was still cheating until he told me and asked me if I wanted it.

That was when I became no longer friends with him because I told him people like him ruin the game and told him to fuck off.

If you know him well he will have no problem admitting he has been cheating for 6+ years to you.

I am not sticking up for Basy. What i am sticking up for is the right for a person to face there accusers and any evidence the accusers present. No one wants to be a part of a community where people can be banned with just a couple of accusations and finger pointing. This isnt the red scare witch hunt.

Everyone knows that Basy cheats. The admins have tolerated him thus far because he doesn't play often. It's common fact. What are you debating? He has been cheating for years and almost everyone knows about him. Just because he denies it now doesn't mean he has always denied it. He used to admit it all the time. Now that dread banned him is when he denies it.

Its not whether or not Basy cheats. Its how often and how does it affect games? Everyone already knows hes a cheater, they just tolerate it. You are clueless and have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

I also heard from a few people he admitted it a while back, and I heard he was caught using walls with an auto-ss taken by an admin .. but I don't know the validity of that source..

I didn't need proof that he toggled a bot.. . it's intuition.. players don't shaft you perfectly as soon as they pop behind walls.. nor do their heads spin around instantly and pinpoint target you with shaft.. simply playing spoon.. or cata.. or any top player that doesn't cheat is worlds apart from his bot (when he toggled it).. I already spoke in lengths about this in a thread a while back.. the "evidence" may not be enough to ban him, but it seems the jury has already made their decision..

besides, he was back with Whyc lanning on speaknow a few days ago, so it seems the perma ban is up..

Isn't there a way in QuakeC where you can tell the distance between two objects? Could there be a change where that distance is null'd? So there is no distance variable? Or would this mess with bullet collision? Its not like theres regular monsters in CA so whats the need for the distance between two objects function?

Oh dont make me a red herring! I reluctantly havent played as much as i want to, and part of this is the time it takes to code. There are other tangents; monumental REAL_LIFE! but i wish you would play the game and be your best, and if your are, then be humble as MJordan and play to win and play honestly.
