So I just found out tonight that there is still a quake1 community, other than QuakeWorld. I'm sure none of you know me... I played on heat.net and mplayer.com back when Quake first came out. Anyway, im a diehard quaker and probably always will be. But as for the subject of the thread....

Are there any TF servers? I would really like to know if there are. I see you guys still have a fairly active community and if there is any TF going on, please let me know. I would love to get in on it and can probably get some other people to jump in on TF as well.

Yeah, you can check out http://www.quakeservers.net to find Team Fortress servers and there are active Team Fortress servers. Team Fortress is going to be Quakeworld.

yea, i wish someone would throw up a public TF server. I guarantee you if you did you would get people. I could probably get my whole clan from back in the day to come out. There are people on qw that would die to play there is just no community to do so on.

Anyone got access to a server?... it doesnt take much bandwidth does it?

yeah theres quite a few tf servers ShockLTK. But mostly the only one I can find with regular games going on is in brazil. Are you using EZquake or anything like that? Still looking for some games or what? If so I can let you know some servers that are in regular use.

i'm talking about netquake... netquake has a larger community than qw does have left... everyone on qwtf and mtf pretty much just plays the gay COOP bs.

but yea, i have both netquake and quakeworld installed. I know about all the qw TF servers, but you show me some active netquake TF servers and we'll talk.

well like i said. Get me a server or 2. I'll bring some people over. I still have contact with majority of the qwtf scene that is still gaming as well as old school clans from heat.net and mplayer.com

Hopefully we can get a TF community up pretty quickly. But im not gonna get them to waste their time and get quake up and running again if there are no servers to play on.
