Off topic, but I thought everyone moved to QW once it was released. I was surprised to see this many people prefer regular quake and even say it's better. I only see qw in browsers like ase.
Because I played so many quake1 and 3 mods, I adapted a different config than most people. I use this:
t = forward
f = strafe left
g = back
h = strafe right
space = jump
mouse1 = attack
mouse2 = depends on the mod
I do this because I can use r and y for zooming with rifles like in TF. And it also leaves more keys around my movement keys to bind to useful things. I find the standard wasd too constrained. I need more keys.
