I had been looking for the files since forever, but never could find them.

I would look at the files, brush up on my cfg/server admin skills, and try to setup my own server even.

Hopefully we can get a group together to try it out sometime.
It is a really fun mod.

I, too, would prefer quakeworld, but for Kill the Llama, I would play netquake for sure!

I've been considering going to QW, or QLive CA. I shall look into these today.

I was lucky because I was introduced to QW early on back in the day. QW, imo, has such a more smooth, fast-pace feel to it compared to netquake.
In fact, I never went back to netquake once I started playing QW.
But then, I recommend you try it and find out for youself!

I play Quake Live sometimes, mostly CTF, still pretty fun.

If you have a dedicated server, then please do!
I just never imagined someone would actually want to host it.
If I host it, it will be on my own PC, or maybe my back PC could do it. But I don't have any server box or rental or anything, so if you do, that would be better.

So, if you can, and have a dedicated server, please do!

I might still set up on too as a backup or a bit later.

I guess not. Well, I might try, but like I said, it has been a long time since I did server admin for quake1 so I need to read up on everything again.

So, if you can, set up a Kill the Llama server that will be great, and let me know, because I want to see it when its ready.

I still will get back into hosting myself too, but just will be awhile.

the problem i run into on QuakeWorld is i will jitter for some reason, that is i will bounce between point A and point B rapidly and then end up at point C and by the time i reach this point C i am disorientated takes me longer to get my bearings, where in NetQuake when i lag i just stop at point A at which time i can predict myself where point B [there is no point C] will be and not be disorientated or have had to do things multiple times [ pickup item + jitter = i pick it up about 6 times and only recive it once making me feel ripped off]

QuakeLive will also have this unbearable jittering if the wireless router is being a shit and not working right
