I have been working on Vr2 (based on QMB) with entar these last few weeks, trying to speed it back up after he has slowed it down. He seems to have managed to half the frame rate from QMB.
The only reason why it's so fucking slow is because the default particle script spews out about 4000 particles just for a rocket explosion... With a more user-friendly script, it would be better.
There is a great screenshot that he made which was a ball of sparks, and I've been trying to re-create that in script form to use as a rocket explosion, but I can't work out how to do it...
