Dont underestimate Kimp, Just the other night he was "testing an exploit", lagging the server until we lost connection. He even flooded the coop server one time.
Somehow this guy can't be banned.
Maybe some haxor savvy quakers can explain these shenanigans.

Well, Kimp can't be banned because he has 3 main IPs and after that he's got some proxy network bullshit so he can technically have a different IP every time he comes on.

The "exploit" he was "testing" was most likely just him doing a DDOS attack, flooding the server's bandwidth so that it can't do anything else.

My guess is that Kimp has a botnet and he uses it to do the DDOS attacks, explaining how he floods servers making it crash/players loose connection, and to act as his proxy network, connecting to a computer in the botnet through his connection then using that computer's connection to play Quake through, gaining a different IP and explaining the ping increace.

Hve you seen his recent thread where he lists every DM player? That creeps me out. How do you know every DM player? Does he add names to some list he keeps? Does he spend so much time among us that he actually knows everyone?

I was proving that i cant be banned either.. i change my IP as well.. but it only went so far.. my IP starts with a 24.211 or whatever.. so instead of banning 24.211.181, the speaknow people banned 24.211. and that part is what wasnt changing for me.. so i stayed banned. But in doing that it also banned mada and jon because they live in the same area as me..

I had high, high hopes for that movie. And I believed all the press.

It wasn't a bad movie, but it was slow moving and with a hard to understand plot (you have to watch it twice).

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was more of a drama with nice scenery and lighting than whatever I thought I'd get. I guess I wanted to see at least some action and there really wasn't.

Despite that, I liked the movie but I could have liked it far more. It didn't even really have them fight any bad guys.

I doubt Kimp can do anything besides proxying. If he could packet, I'm pretty sure he would have packeted me and several others over the verbal abuse we've gave him.

I'm just amazed by the amount of time he's invested to get into a community that doesn't want him. I know I would have tired long ago.
