The powers of Kimp

I had high, high hopes for that movie. And I believed all the press.

It wasn't a bad movie, but it was slow moving and with a hard to understand plot (you have to watch it twice).

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was more of a drama with nice scenery and lighting than whatever I thought I'd get. I guess I wanted to see at least some action and there really wasn't.

Despite that, I liked the movie but I could have liked it far more. It didn't even really have them fight any bad guys.

I watched it on movie8.net (Asian pirate move site) THREE times! before renting it (burning to dvd). Ya if you didnt grow up as a kid in the '70s collecting comic books this movie isn't for you.

I think people dont like kimp's name than again they dont like the enthusiasm of a newb challenging a stagnant player-base.
He should give us all free beer or host the winnings on 'said' tourney!
i mean c'mon if I or some other old schooler tout'ed Quake to his "drum" we would get a less grief.... eh?

There is a lot of bad mouthing of Kimp... But yet a seemingly resentful respect for him at the same time. You could almost say there is a love/hate rapport. You guys make him a celebrity and boost his ego...undermining the supposed desire to banish him.

From what I understand, he hosts a Quake server that is very popular, tries very hard to include people in games, and tolerates rashes of hate very lightly. Don't you think Kimp's reputation exceeds him? I would even consider the idea he is a scapegoat.

Just currious, anyone have a list of his past screen names?

Reckless comments like this are completely unnecessary...and offensive. To me this is a cheap shot and a selfish attempt to get yourslef another post point.

There is nothing constructive about your comment, and it says much more about yourself than what anyone else would want to know about you.

I see this chatter all the time... and I have no issue with people joshing.... there is a point where joshing looses its friendliness and turnes into hateful dribble.
