I've seen many Thresh impersonations so I highly doubt it was him at all. Thresh may have been good at dm, but compared to todays best players that are left, he's nothing special. It's more of the legend he left behind in players' minds.

Yeah just like Wilt Chamberlain. He was only good because he was taller then everyone else on the court. Thresh was only good because he had the best system and internet connection. Now everyone has it so he would be trash if he played now.

Lets deal with the fact real quick.

Thresh is 9 years out of DM Quake 1. So apparently he isn't the best anymore.

Saying that IF thresh was still playing that he would still be the best is called being a fanboy and its time to take down the Dennis Fong posters

If its a competition you can always bet theres someone better. Thresh was obviously good for his time. Hes gone, get used to it

Thresh hasn't played quake in a long time. The last quake he touched was quakeworld CA in 2000 and he never admitted what his alias was. Dennis "Thresh" Fong was too busy in the business world. He owned firingsquad.com, and created xfire which has since become the medium chat tool for a lot of online players. Within the last 2 years he sold XFire for a few million more than I'll ever have.

I'm not sure if it was him, but I do know that traditionally he has never admitted to being thresh in game.

I imagine if thresh decided to make a comeback he would gain his old form in not too much time. Just because he hasn't played in a long time doesn't mean he has lost his skill. Thresh wasn't better than everyone because of his aim, he was better than everyone because he could pick up your tendencies and had great strategy.

Another very good player, Notorious GIB, would come back every once and a while, and just pick it back up and own. So, it's not hard to imagine Thresh could do the same.

I highly doubt, though, that this was thresh. Of course it's possible, but I imagine if he had the urge to play, he would probably play on a LAN, i'm sure he could find someone to play him on LAN.

I don't think handiman was in deathrow, he was in LGD, but i don't think he stayed on to be in DR. All the members of deathrow were LittleDragon, Orion, Geiger, Twistedkiller, Unholy, Da5id, Reptile, Thresh, B2, Frick, and Spear (aka Kenn).

I guess Handiman did join later.
