how bout the admin's take the time to fully setup the CA server's, like getting all the maps & adding the "Again" series of maps, (Dm3again , etc....)

Ca needs a custom-map REVAMP, cuz some of the maps are shit. I am really desiring some non-DM3 quake, but something tells me the RuneQuake server will thin out pretty quick if I try getting non-dm3 game time at shmack. Then again, I've considered a full fledged return. Hook anyone?

Maybe if you wern't so drugged up all the time you might have realized that I'm fully in support of playing on new maps, but am simply pointing out that it's never going to happen. Next time you rub your gay fantasies on someone, try thinking about who it is first. Go ahead and try to find one of my posts in support of 24/7 DM3. I'll be waiting.

Although I believe that DM3 is essentially Quake's Tennis Court... I agree that throwing in some different maps and maybe a rotation would be a nice change.

yawn***,seriously. I requested some things get fixed, and you piped in "No one will play, everyone is DM3 sluts". So I thought I would reflect the gayness you brought into my thread (I really tire of drum beaters when it comes to anti-DM3)....


FURTHER MORE, I was playing runequake long before most, so I found it a wee bit annoying to have ppl telling me to get my fix @ shmack. I already know shmack is THE place to avoid DM3. Sheesh.

Most RQ'ers - plays more maps, stays on servers longer.

Almost all CA'ERS,DM'ers & CTF'ers - Play DM3, doesn't "SinglePlay", hates change "outside the box" type thinking.

We also did "SinglePlay" on UltraV and DM3! SO FU! And the only reason why we did "SinglePlay" on DM3 was because it warped to it on its own after 50 Frags was obtained!

Not true. Every mod has their DM3. RQ just happens to have more of them. There's only about 3-4 maps that I've seen on heavy rotation at Shmack.

The map rotation on Shmack works on how many players there are. Someone concocted a list of "small", "medium", and "large" maps, and defined a player amount for which list to use. If you pay attention at the end of a game, it will say something like "server sees x players... changing to small/medium/large map". Then again, Runequake has its DM3s... start, DM4 and E1M7 get voted in a lot.
