The tough questions for teh Bank:

    Dear Monsiuer Bank,

You claimed to have been a Quake Terminus fan. Both you and CheapAlert had news posting priviledges at Quake Terminus.

Since you loved Quake Terminus so much, how many news items did you do?

Was it 1 or 2? I did more news items at Quake Terminus than both you and CheapAlert combined in most weeks from May 2005 forward.

What did you guys do combined? 3 news articles in a year? Four? Or was it only 2?

So Bank, being the dedicated and loyal QT fan you were ... how many news articles did you do at Quake Terminus to help keep the site going strong?

Lots of talk, but no walk. The dictionary term for that = hypocrite.

    Baker

p.s. Quake Terminus has always been the top listed multiplayer site link at this site and in the Quake Navigator. And yes, this is all so dumb and my apologies in advance to Megazoid if he reads all of this crap in the forums here.
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

Sajt's got my back, QExpo goes beyond nationality!

That and I really have no general national pride... but from what Ive heard Canada did recently elect a Bush type as well...

Though America isnt known for fitness, I personally am (I actually get made fun of for my exercise ethic and being so aware of what I eat).

This is so completely off topic but Im just keeping away from the whole Quake Terminus thing. I like Megazoid, I liked the site, that is my stance on it.

I know, you don't like see conflict/arguing. I hear ya. I don't like it either, but the fastest way to dispose of it is to deal with it head on.

3 days from now, no one will remember anyway. It's the nature of forums.

You care! You really care! I'm touched

See, now you're just trying to do the "my **** is bigger than your's just because I masturbate all the time" argument.

First off, you were mod at QT long before I was.
Secondly, I didnt USE QT just to support my other projects.

Baker, the fact is, your comparison is stupid and does not affect this circumstance, I thought someone as intelligent as yourself would know that, but I suppose I was wrong.

I liked QT when the news was done by someone who wanted to support QT, not just use it to advertise their side projects.

Baker, the truth is, I couldnt care less about what happened, I loved Quake Terminus and now it's gone, big whoop. I blame you, get over it.

            Is this a scientific fact?

Although I dislike both side arguements brought on here, I believe it's you, Bank, that should get over it. Your comments about how you blame Baker have been never ending. I thought this little game was over until I listened to qradio5. Someone has to stop this bickering and be a man and I think it should be you, Bank.

When I had my differences with Quadraptor, I was just being an jerk to piss him off as I had no values in what was being argued about. Atleast one of us was having fun out of it. But you guys argueing over a shutdown legacy site has to stop. Baker, Bank is a good guy he's just younge. Bank, Baker is a good man with a good sense of humour.

You've both done your parts to support the quake community so let's not make this a battle over who is greater.

And please don't reply saying something like "I know but this ass bla bla bla" because it doesn't help. I want to see who the bigger man is in this picture.

              Although it's obviously me : D

You guys care too much about stuff. I seperate the anger I have about QT going down with the anger I have in real life. I laugh my ass off at responses I get : D

What does it matter that I blame Baker for stuff? Nothing he says will change it, so why does it even matter. I can blame someone for stuff and still be their friend, you guys are just too serious about stuff : D

A few facts you may or may not be aware of ....

                  1. Megazoid was one of the first people asked to join the QuakeOne site development project last year (May 2005), hence ...

A QuakeTerminus news post from May 2005 by Megazoid:

The Last True Quakers site is down, and I'm guessing it might not come back. Who knows what exactly happened to it, but there is a new site waiting in the wings to pick up the slack. The new site is still under construction, so I'm not allowed to give out any details currently (mhuhuhu, I love being evil). I will say the project is headed by Steve who won the "(first) 2005 QT Competition" a few months ago. Good luck with the project guys.
                  2. Megazoid made me an editor at Quake Terminus in May 2005, in part, so when QuakeOne was ready to launch, that I could do the news announcement myself and announce the completion of any other QuakeOne projects.

                  3. Megazoid has always been a supporter of the QuakeOne site and our projects.

I just mention these because my only guess is that you blame me because it seems like you aren't aware of any of these things.

The QuakeOne site, by the way, was supposed to launch in June or July of 2005 and due to several setbacks didn't until March 2006.

One CMS after another couldn't meet the requirements of what we were looking for.

The first one, DragonFly, was awesome but couldn't handle more than 5 or 6 people at the site at the same time. That was the CMS were breaking in for the first 3 months and we were finally finished when we discovered that major shortcoming.

Then we experimented with Mambo for a month, and none of us felt the forum component was on par with other forum systems available. That burnt a month before we determined that just wasn't going to work.

Then we experimented with a WordPress/PHP combination, but the integration wasn't there. And the story goes on .... are you asleep yet, heh? Zzzzz

Finally Sole went with the system we have now and it already has proved to be more versatile than the others and Sole changes what he doesn't like.
