BA is active on the server and talks to SZ. I respect BA's interpretation of SZ's wishes.

And once again, to make things very clear, nobody in the DM community is arguing on behalf of kimp. Nobody is asking for him to be unbanned. Nobody has sympathy for him.

Because I'm an active DM'er that actually plays on crmod and talks to most of the other DM'ers, I can make the above statement on behalf of the players that use the server.

Magnus, I just fail to see why you couldn't be happy with the fact that I was beyond willing to remain on server and fill the slot that kimp was occupying ,like ALWAYS, "needed kimp" to fill a player slot is NOT an excuse here. ME not waiting for the end of a fn 20minute game is a weak arguement when I retort I was there,I unlocked the game,I CC'd to Team Yellow, and was working on unpausing the MATCH when you decided I just screwed the entire game over,and thought it would be better to disconnect and come here bitching as opposed to keeping your cool, acknowledging I WASNT FUCKING THE GAME OVER.

I was doing as I have done MANY time at the REQUEST of Badaim,before I was even a fn admin at CRMOD!!!

Funny thing is, all those times Badaim banned kimp mid-game, and told me VIA Instant Message to go to CRMOD and take kimp's slot.

NO ONE CRIED FOUL WHEN CHUCK WAS ALLOWING ME TO STEP IN, MID-GAME , when Kimp would weasel his punk bitch self into the CRMOD server,like he always does.

So, explain to me why in the fuck this is such an issue NOW? I thought YOU and I hashed this shit out last night at CRMOD, but apparently not you're still belly aching to prove a point,which if you DO prove your point, you're also saying Badaim was in the wrong all the times I recieved "CRMOD,now, take kimps spot!!"

From where we stand now, I think we've accomplished the following:

Baker clearly has his own agenda and is completely disconnected from what the DM players actually think and feel.

Static has his own concerns about the issue but can't relate to the DM players.

Many other CA'xers and CTF'ers are in the same boat as static and simply can't relate to DM players.

BA spoke to SZ about the issue.

BA asked you not to kick kimp mid-game if the match is a good match.

We all don't want to be "kimp'd" again by becoming sympathetic toward kimp.

We both agree that you having access to the ip ban file would help eliminate these issues before they start.

Sounds like progress to me.

you dont know how i feel buddy...
i have the utmost respect for players that play without a hook, and limited armor and weapons like DM..
but as i see the problem with kimp being: u guys have a problem after u have agreed on teams and so on till the match starts, then start a match, just to have it ended by an admin.. that is a fairly credible problem, i agree..
but kimps problem is bigger than all your problems, which results in all other problems becoming smaller than kimp...
this is not about ego or anything similar to that, this is about someone who ruined their own chances to play, time and time again...
the only solution is to start your own server, and since it is kimp friendly, it might not even make it to the Quakeone homepage...
This is a big problem man, and far be it from me to beat a dead horse..
just dont assume what i think or feel, i wouldnt make such a stupid mistake and go assume how someone feels...

What's the problem here? You have a cancer to the community who for the past 2 years off and on has been harassing players with floods, shutting down servers, joining mid game, botting, going afk in the middle of matches.. there are various people here vouching for him who in the past said to ban him completely and never have him return to Quake..

Just because a serial killer hasn't killed in a month, doesn't mean that you forget about his previous murders..

Mindz is acting correctly, and at this point it doesn't matter if it is in your best interests for DM but it is for the overall good of the game.
