That's terrible.. sadly since we do not know him in real life we can only reminisce about him through Quake.. but he was a valuable member of the community and unlike most people he was eager to learn and always asking for help, questions, tips on how to get better..

I had requested demos from CTF matches.. I left my e-mail address.. he was the first one to contact me within literally 15 minutes and sent me demos for several different matches.. seemed like a genuine good guy

Damn. Napalm was always the guy who wouldn't talk shit. He always had a good attitude, and he wouldn't give up! Rest In Peace Brad.

Coolbreeze played a very long time. In fact, in older days when I helped admin the Shmack server with Slot Zero, Slot had a "backdoor" that allowed him to play without detection (using a bogus IP address) and he'd frequently secretly play against me. One time he impersonated Coolbreeze who at the time I hadn't seen in a while.

It sucks he's gone. I remember hearing that "D" died a year or 2 ago. No doubt a few players that probably died we don't know of. It does suck when someone as nice as Coolbreeze is the one you hear about. He was a class act.
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

Add me as a friend dude, I also used to motorcross and flat track back in the early 80's. My old band Bad Habit opened up for Pantera back in 86 just before Cowboys from hell came out, hell I used to drink beer and smoke with Diamond Darrell ( his name back then ) any way it was an old race track in Okla and they built a stage in the middle of the track 11 bands played and we went on just before Pantera. Ahh the good ole' days hehe. I remember to this day when I turned on the news and saw that he was shot by that fuckhead.

              Cheers!

Wow, ya know sometimes we get all competitive and with our game-face on etc.. I spent many hours trying to help Brad get his game configured etc. and it just seemed like it was going in one ear and out the other. Little did I know that he was battling more problems in real-life. He really was a nice guy, and all he wanted to do was just hang out and chill with us like the old days.

Thats Brad in the fore ground with his band.

he sent me a p.m. a few weeks ago when i wasnt around.....will definitely miss him, always had a good attitude even when guys were bashing him, it took alot to drive him from the servers...the community has a hole that will never be filled.

Like r00k said, sometimes we all have our game faces on in the spirit of competition. Im guilty of getting loud with him, as alot of people know im a hot-head. But the more I talked with him the better I knew him, he didnt seem like a internet freind most of the time. I talked to him about real life shit, he told me what was going on with him. He was a really awesome person to me, always eager to help me out as I was him. He even went as far as to almost send a tow truck when my car broke down as i had been talking to him on the phone when it happened. He lived in CA, me Mass. One hell of a person and honestly no one may want to hear this im going to miss the dude alot, I do already miss hearing from him. Brad all of lifes little troubles are beyond you now man, hopefully its on to bigger and better things for you.
