Do you like ProQuake/QRack's iplog feature and the effect that iplog has on the game? Or do you feel the opposite or somewhere in-between.
ProQuake has had a feature called iplog for years which helps identify anonymous players, figuring out who they really are.
To some degree, it added some -- for a lack of a better word --- "accountability" to the game where someone using a bot or being really uncool could instantly be identified by the average player.
On the other hand, it makes it really hard to play anonymously.
The Shmack RA server and the practice mode server don't display IPs at all, making anonymous play there possible.
IPLOG ... love it? hate it? somewhere in the middle?
