Incorrect. His status was removed because if a normal user were to ever post/link cheats on this site, they would be banned. He was lucky that's all that happened was the removal of his Administration status. He was on his way anyhow being an Admin and hurling insults at the community. I'm just correcting your statement, I don't have anything personal against Mindz.

If you want to rid the community of these kinds of things (cheaters), you don't link the whole community to cheats as if to say "If Tremor allows Kimp to play on his server and cheat, then here, you can all cheat", that's the most ass backwards way of ridding the community of cheats I have ever seen in my life. There is no good reason for what he did, I don't care how you try to spin it.

frenzy ur wrong about that, people have posted quake1 bootlegs on here even baker posted it for someone, i forget who it was for but since it was some old skool person he knew,.. he said here have the link...it was the hdz site, and other people have posted hacks and links to sites that are sketchy but never got banned, however most of their posts got removed... kimp even posted his server on here with splinter and had his hacked client floating around with links to it, in threads and wasnt banned for that, he was banned for different reasons. I understand the controversy and i just cant make myself care... Im not going to go into details about what this site was to me and what it has become but im just going to say this "we all have a right to be wrong and we all have a reason to be right."

plus this site has experimental servers and other servers in the regular area with no anti-cheat installed its just whatever and whoever wants to play on those servers... its a risk and chance they choose to take.

I highly doubt that I am wrong due to the fact that myself and another administrator had a talk prior to his status being removed. I'm pretty sure I would know the reasons because of this And HDz has no cheats on the site, it does have Quake, yes. However, it's a standing rule not to link free downloads of Quake on the forums. Everybody gets directed to Steam, unless someone wants to take the time to private message a user looking for Quake
