Mindz, Baker could put together something great and I still don't think it's going to bring forth any new players.. the community has what it has, with some randoms here and there who saw this website on the internet and decided they'll follow through and get Quake... what this website needs is a big ass button at the top right that says "DOWNLOAD QUAKE HERE NOW" instead of a guy going through forums asking questions about wtf is qrack and how do I actually get Quake installed?

I laugh'd at Chuck[NygmA] when he said "Quake is dead" and made a song celebrating its death (to him,atleast).

Quake is dead for you because people aren't CTFing or playing at SPEAKNOW.(guess)
Quake is dead to that guy over there because of whatever reason that guy needs to think Quake is dead. I know in the long run, Quake1 has experienced surges of players coming and going. That isn't about to change any time soon.

Quake isn't dead, it is in a period of low activity. But I'll only be "back" when I am ready to release my new engine.

Quake, is a intellectual property that makes them money. Don't you know Quake5 is slotted to exist? or Quake .5 , Quake1's prequel? or Quake 1.5 , quakes sequel?
