NEVER! RuneQuake is awesome, my favorite Rune Combo is Radiate 3 high traffic rooms + Drop Radiation / find Bezerk Rune.

RuneQuake is to much chance, spam luck and runes.

I prefer to challenge pure first hand skill vs first hand skill.

Death-spots and ice traps are for the birds.

not true, both mods have their share of regular gamers.

RQ players tend to stick to Shmack , and CAx players tend to double as multi-mod gamers, who can also play CTF,TDM,and others.

Cax has more to do. Airshot, speed ball, match, practice and soon freezetag i believe will be put into the mod. RQ is a mod that beginners can enjoy and get kills from a runes help.

U know just as well as i do RUNEQUAKERS, do not enter other servers by request. They have to veer off on their own.

The death spots i seem to get around.. Its the radiation and ice traps that always get me.. Other then some newb sitting on start level near LG spamming nades or rockets down the stairs or hooked in the air and soon as you come in he has berserk rune and just pummels you to death before you see him. They get smart to and actually move to another corner by time you go get 200/200 is megas up, + RL & 25 roxs to fight back. Bastards! LoL

the whole point of rune quake is to add your niche skills to a rock paper scissors outcome. if enough players dont like shmack rune then slot will have fewer adding $ to his paypal account in the fall. your best bet is the protection rune coupled with skills. well anyway thats one mans opinion, no hard feelings syluxman.
