Hi Mindzy,

I believe the RQ+ mod was made by IEE/Mr Wifi, with perhaps a little help from Dolemite but I'm not sure if it has a Flea rune, but what a fun idea. There is certainly a rune which allows you to fly around the level at high speed superman stylee . The Trojan Horse rune can also be a challenge if used in the right place

I wonder if BDA has the flea rune. I recall Lefty sending a copy to me some time ago. I'll see if I can dig it out

I'll let you know as soon as I know more about the RQ+ server, although I suspect even though we first tested it in the states it's likely to be in europe.

1. get dual recall rune
2. set your recall place on the flag at your home base
3. get enemy flag
4. recall home
5. ???
6. PROFIT!!!

Yes the flea rune was very much fun. You could fit in spots you normally couldn't,and you was smaller than a grenade, maybe 4 - 8 pixels in size at the most,maybe smaller. I was hoping any prior RQ players like Solecord would maybe recall it's origin's.

I recall there being
RuneQuakeAdvanced , RuneQuakePlus, soooo many variants. Where are these mods? Does IEE still visit ANY forums out there?

I remember the flea. I think possibly that was on BDA, but I also recall that being a "monster" you could pick up and turn yourself into a monster. You could also be a scrag, death knight, grunt, shambler, vore, and ogre. Not sure if any other monsters were available... I think possibly that was widomaker?

Hi Foq,

I know for definite that you can assume the guise of various monsters in RuneQuake+ either via a rune or in some maps (such as above the Ep1 teleporter in Start) by walking through the monster model that sits waiting there.
