What really needs to happen is Omicron should get the exclusive right to make the "death messages" .... He's like his own comedy club. Some of it is hilarious. I was smiling for 3 hours just laughing at some of brutal insults he laid down on me last night while we played.

But the problem is --- if it is impeding getting games going or distracting from the gameplay, it isn't helping.

Omi --- you point out "bad admining" --- and I agree (for reasons different than you would list) --- it is because the crappy server admin tools in use at the moment suck. They can easily be evaded, circumvented, etc.

So it leads to anger and frustration amongst players, server operators and admins. It is a simple enough problem, ineffectively handled (the ProQuake servers out there, they are woefully insufficient at EVER getting a handle on any of this. They cannot do it.)

Everyone is sick of games getting screwed up or not happening ... it is the common theme everyone here in this thread is pointing to. Everyone hates that.

I don't dislike mindz, but he is a horrible admin. He lacks the common sense to handle certain situations. If Omi is describing the the situation correctly, then why would mindz go out of his way to ruin a game? My logic would be:

a) kimp has done enough in the past to be banned, but is he currently doing anything wrong right now? No.

b) if I ban kimp right now does it negatively affect the players currently on the server? Yes. Now they don't have a 3 v3, so at least one player has to sit and the possibility of the game even happening decreases dramatically, because a lot of players do not like 2 v 2.

Look mindz, had you just ignored the situation, nothing bad would have happened and you wouldn't have wasted your time. Kimp should probably never be allowed on a ca or ctf server again, but he is harmless on a dm server.

In depth response, this is not how the world works CD. Kimp still acts out / fucks with other servers , its 2012 kimp started his shit in 2009 and somewhere inbetween you became attached to his hip constantly defending him / playing my heart bleeds for you. I have nothing wrong with you either,and as far as im concerned the only problem you've ever had with me is that I kept servers kimp free.

Wolv has become HEAD MOTHER FUCKER IN CHARGE over at QuakeTX server's and thats something Omicron / other TDM players will need to address on their own,as that shit has nothing to do with me.

However, HDz servers I explicitly do have something to do with those servers, and if you haven't been paying attention Kimp will never be welcome on server im admin at. 2009-2012 (Present Day) bullshit from kimp makes sure of this (See few months back, WickedLord and I are on a server :Kimp crashes it)

My thoughts on WOLV having admin access and Tremor doing nothing about it? Wolv is now covering the costs of both QuakeTX server's, and as such,Tremor is just continuing them much like Slot Zero is doing for Shmack RQ,RA,CRMOD,etc. Thats my own personal observation of why 'things are the way they are'.

Just let me know what benefit anyone gained by you banning him at hdz? The only one who benefitted was you and the only benefit you received was the satisfaction that he couldn't play in the game. Lets see. Everyone left because we couldn't get a game after you banned kimp. Asc who had just come back to NQ said something like wow, quake will never change and left the game in disgust, so you inadvertently made someone quit the game. Although who knows if he quit for good or if he will be back, although im sure if he does come back it will be a while until he's willing to deal with the bs of mouthbreathing powertripping psychopaths like you. All of us threw up our hands and quit 3 minutes later. Don't blame dm. It was directly your actions as an admin, connecting just to ban someone which pretty much caused everyone to lose any desire to play and in the other case caused a vet who had just come back to quit again. Youre a douche through and through and pathetic to boot. In fact your job is to make the game better for us, when instead you showed up and completely sabotaged the game causing everyone to leave.
