Fun stuff. This took me a while, but I encourage you all to do the same.
(On "Hard" difficulty) I've recently, consecutively, passed "Quake 1," then "Scourge of Armagon" then "Dissolution of Eternity". It gave me a lot of ideas for my project. Armagon was phenomenal, Dissolution felt like a bunch of nerds tried to make something 'cool.' It was a bit convoluted in my opinion, but still fun, I'll play it again.
Then I passed "Quake II," "The Reckoning" and "Ground Zero." Honestly... "Ground Zero" is amazing, and surprisingly long. I loved the guns that popped out of the walls, kept you on your toes.
I was shocked at how good Quake II & the expansion packs were; I'd always heard it was one of those games "that tried, but sucked," which is a huge discredit. Great games all.
I picked up a copy of "Enemy Territory: Quake Wars" but haven't played it yet. I was wondering if any of you had a copy, and what your thoughts were.
