I don't have the box, but I have the original game, with the folding cardboard sleeve thing, with the book which is slightly damaged on the folding point, and both expansion packs in their jewel cases.
I got my first credit card explicitly to buy Quake when it first came out as a CD in that hawt matte black case with the rusty Q on it. I never used the card again-- I just wanted to get Quake! I remember loading it up on my Pentium 90 mhz with 8 MB of RAM, which I then upgraded to 16 MB so that it would run better. That along with the mission packs (and all my software, for that matter) were stolen out of my luggage by one of the baggage handlers at the airport. Ended up getting a settlement out of that which paid for my first semester at college.
I bought another copy shortly after that, which I ended up copying and tossing out the original because it was scratched all to hell over the years. The backup copy I made worked but the CD tracks skipped alot and cut out (as the source of the copy was probably corrupt). Bought a steam version a couple years ago on sale-- god bless digital distribution. Downloaded ogg versions of the music tracks.
