  • Quake.trinicom.com lives yet again!

    Hey guys and gals,

    Looks like the power supply went out back on 6/29/11 and no one told me about it.
    Some buds back from the 90's asked about it so I check it out and installed the new PS and now it is up again!

    We set up a facebook page for anyone who wants to reconnect and get some games going like the good old days.

    wow, 1.75 years without checking/maintaining your own server? That's crazy. I'd be embarrassed to post that. Which also means you haven't even played on your own server in that long. Plus some guys had to time-travel from the 90's to let you know...smh.

    I am as happy as you are diligent about you getting your server fixed.

    lol,

        i think it would be cool to have some pub ctf games going evven if its 3312
        i think in the servermodule code there was ACtually a bug when i held the hook until the end of it pulling u in its suppsed to swing and u could keep swinging as long as u moved back and forth
        i could send u some code
        i made a trinicom clone back in 2002 or after trinicom first went down

                    I was a huge CTF fan but found myself quickly aggrivated with the slow hook @ trinicom

                    I'll CTF

                      okay, SO. I have tried connecting with

                      DirectQ = Fail
                      Vanilla Quake install folder with pure/simple ProQuake 3.99 with security.dll version 3.20 installed = Fail again.

                      We can't get into your server, atleast I CANT WTF.

                              BTW,I was present for when Trinicom went down and a fXck ton of CTF players was left SOL without a regrouping spot.

                              CTF hasn't recovered since then
