It's not the same soundtrack, dude. Every mission pack and addon comes with its own soundtrack. Why do you think I took pictures of the CDs? You insert different CDs for different soundtracks to be heard in the game.

The soundtracks are already on the disc when you buy it.

But the problem is buying from steam, thus you get no CD. Also, AoP was released on the internet, but only the data to play not the music tracks.

What on earth are you talking about?

Yes... The soundtracks ARE on the discs - correct. The Shrak, Malice, and AOP soundtracks are NOT the same as the Quake soundtrack. When you play Quake, you insert the Quake CD to hear the Quake soundtrack. When you play Malice, you insert the Malice CD to hear the Malice Soundtrack. I'm not sure what you are getting at.

You can rip them off the CD to get them so you don't have to buy them!

              Stop being such a wiseass.

As already mentioned the Steam versions are lame ripoffs that do not even include the soundtracks. Secondly Abyss of Pandemonium was never really released as intended so while the game data is free, there are very few copies of the CDs floating around.

Oh dear, I bet that Methods of Destruction troll is going to show up again to teach me about my ethics.

We would have done that already, had one of us OWNED the CD. What do you think the point of this latest discussion is? None of us can rip the music if we don't have the CD now, can we? You still aren't making any sense. First you wanted us to use the Quake soundtrack while playing AOP2. Then, you wanted us to rip music from a CD that none of us have. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

I'm guessing you don't speak English well, seeing as how you aren't understanding this conversation. AOP2 is FREE to download. Apparently, you haven't been reading this thread. My guess is you are just arguing for spite, since there is no way you can be THAT clueless. At least I hope not, for your sake.

no where on the internet, this is why I intended to buy the game. I searched on ebay..no results and their official website is down.

Ok, and where exactly can you download it? I think you just said that without actually doing a google search yourself.

That "demo" is the full version indeed.
It seems that not many people love AoP very much, but I think AoP has got its ways of distinguishing itself from other mods and addons. For example, the stake gun, which idea seems to have been incorporated into the later FPS game Painkiller, and the electric pulse gun, which is my favorite. I just love to make the monsters disoriented and send them spinning! It's great fun really. Pity you don't get alot of cell to do this.

there is so much about this mission pack that made it stand out, right to the awesome metal hitting sounds when you use the axe on the knights. the scary monster that gibs you from the walls and yes! the awesome weapon that sends the monsters spinning until they gib..so bad ass. not to mention it introduced the juggernaut! making an appearance in the hot Travail mission pack as well =)

Did jen18 just double-post (making that her #2 only post) to include a "watch movies online" on her signature?? Wow are people now employed to be human bots for marketing?

Anyways I haven't played "AoP" but if it's free i'll try it
