I want to find some solution to the common Quake questions issue but do it outside the scope of the QuakeOne CMS so it can't be affected by an upgrade in the future.

Installing the old DOS shareware Quake seems to come up as a problem on a pretty regular basis; that deserves a category of it's own.

Maybe a general (and gentle) introduction to the console would be a good thing to have too...?

I do read the forums and this topic does interest me. Baker was pretty spot on in coming up with topics. This is something that should have been done when this site launched since everyone makes threads asking these questions
