These possibilities will allow a commander to direct a battle in much the same way modern army commanders do. Therefore it was decided to update the movement section of the Tactics Chapter. In the TF/TFC tactics and Strategy Guide movements were only described as illustration so as to give teamleaders an idea on what was usual and to give them ideas to play with. In the TF2 Movement section I will present the basics but will refer to actual battles fought in various wars. Commanders, or prospective commanders will then, without a doubt turn to literature to find out specifics on the battles mentioned. This may aid the process of setting up strategies for TF2 and hopefully be entertaining as well. To continue, please choose the buttons to the left to go either to offense movements or defense movements PLEASE NOTE: in describing the movements I will base myself on three squads of both opponents. The first stance therefore is that both opponents are facing eachother: the right flank of commander A is opposing the left flank of commander B,etc. |
