The easiest way to get that feeling again is to buy a N64 or (as i said at the beginning) get an emulator and the Quake 64 Rom and run it on your PC. Then you have exactly the same feeling...

I'm still making the conversion, besides you can finally play the missing levels they took out along with other things. I almost got all the stuff I need to make it, all I need now is the sky and a couple other things and I'm all set. MH is going to make me the sky.

I mean, this idea is cool and all..even though there aren't THAT many changes. I'd probably still play it(the lits, skies, and music alone make for an enjoyable experience..not to forget that nice punch of a sound the nailguns have). I think it would be even more interesting if someone made the lits almost dead on with the 64 maps and perhaps modified the .map files to match.

Split screen mp would be funny to add..and maybe fun if you add coop

You guys wouldn't be the only ones remaking a 64 port to the PC either, there is Duke Nukem 64 TC =)

        PLAY QUAKE DODGEBALL!

I have no interest of adding split screen nor coop, it would be cool if someone made the lits almost dead on with the N64 maps. I'm really looking forward to Duke Nukem 64 TC, especially you can play it uncensored.

OoPpEe, can you get the teleport texture from the N64 rom like you did with the liquid textures. That's the last texture I need from the game.

Does anybody know how I can make everything turn blue when you're underwater and green when you're under slime?

I'm gonna try and make the sky.

I mean, I'm reasonably certain that I can get pretty damn close to it. but it all depends on how the Q64 sky was originally done. If it was GPU-side I've a b etter chance of geting it.

I seem to have lost my N64 emulator, so no sky.

You can always try downloading the Project64 emulator and get the rom by using any search engine.

I got your LG and NG sounds to work, you did a great job on them.

The last thing I need from you is can you make me TGA files of your N64 lava, slime and water textures like you did with your teleporter texture.

Basically any graphics editor can open it and save as TGA. You do need to take some steps in helping out here. You're just requesting, we are doing all the work. Download any non-MSPaint graphics editor and they'll support tga/png basically.
