So, your saying that the fps is slow. Try show_fps 1 and see what number is produced. Also, can you tell what model graphics card you have, and how much memory?
Using the gamma command in the console only makes it so bright, but the shadows can still fully cloak a camping player, is there a command to fix this?

Aren't there brightness and contrast slider bars in Qrack when you press ESC and are in the options menu?
