hey, I found a new problem. you know how mods will sometimes have a model named the same as an id1 one? well grenade.mdl for Quoth reads the 24-bit texture fine, but when I make a luma version for it..it reads the the qrack one instead. it reads plague's grenade_0_luma. I actually think it reads both! weird.

using Qrack 1.85 now, is there a way to capture to avi using xvid, i see a cvar for capture_codec but im not sure how to get to xvid. i have not been able to, when i try and set it to 1 or 2 i get an error about not being able to use compressor. how do i set this up?
1280x800 is a fairly common resolution these days. I think it should probably be added as an option. I know that there already exists 1280x768, but a lot of laptops come in 1280x800 native resolution, and it's nice to try and run things in the monitor's native resolution.

Rook, why did you remove cvar r_viewmodelsize i found that to be much more useful than cl_gun_fovscale. Would you consider putting it back in if you plan on releasing an update to Qrack, and maybe adding another cvar to adjust the actual gun size, i dunno what your situation is, like how motivated you are to do that or if you even have the time, but its just a suggestion. by no means is that meant to take away from how much i love Qrack lol

ya i just created a small black football that was transparent to make the wings and added a solid black dot in the middle to create the body. the colors are inverted when drawn in-game.
Using the latest nVidia drivers (178.13) with QRack 1.85 the V-Sync option doesn't work in the menu. Clicking it does nothing, checking the console reveals the following message:
Unknown variable "vid_vsync".
Also further up in the console I get the following:
Warning: Vertical Sync Not Supported (Extension Not Found).
What Am I doing wrong here? I've not customized Qrack or my drivers. This is a fresh install. Playing without VSync is impossible due to the input lag from both the keyboard & mouse. I get minor issues in nQuake with inputs, but nothing like as severe as QRack. However, i'd prefer to use QRack in order to play Malice.
I'm not specifying anything on the cmdline, should I be?
