gl_fb_bmodels "1" made all luma textures work
and of course gl_fb_models "1" makes the models work. like plagues grenade will have the red light glow or his g_light will have a glowing blue =]
you should pass that part of the code to the ezquake developers. right now, with gl_fb_models "1". the luma texture overrides the original model texture. once this is fixed, I'll be stoked to do plague's lg for vwep. you can see players running with the awesome blue glow on itLast edited by Trickle; 08-05-2008, 03:13 PM.

items dont glow unless the mod makes them glow, ie someone with QUAD or PENT or CTF Flags. r_powerupglow 1 makes the items GLOW via the color of EF_RED/EF_BLUE etc.. or use r_powerupglow 2 to make them glow white, like they do in ProQuake...

I know this is weird, but honestly it's happening across the board, no mod (loaded straight up by double clicking the glQrack icon) either mission pack or my own mod, all of which work fine on any of the other engines I have to hand. (and 1.85)
It even happens if I make a new folder, unzip Qrack 1.85 in to it, then drop the 1.86 beta on top of that, create a folder called ID1 containing only pak0.pak and pak1.pak, and build my config in game via the menu. I tested 1.85 before adding 1.86, then deleted everything except my ID1 folder and ran it with only the files in qrack186beta.zip.
Qoetia has impulses that allow the player to drop most of the items in the game and that doesn't work either (you see a flicker of the spawned item as it is plucked screaming in to the void).
