ok, so that last one is command line only? Ok, that works, then i can set up two batch files, one that runs qrack all tricked out, and one that runs it at default levels.

oh yah, for the HUD, i was asking if you could turn on/off the high res images that qrack supports, ie, the different faces, number sets, ibar, etc.

Whoa, i just tried the -no24bit and that crashes Qrack whenever i try to connect to a server or change the map. Also there seems to be some graphical artifacts associated with this.

Ok i'll track that down. Seems it happened on my end also. Most likely It's trying to allocate a texture that's not available via -no24bit.

I also noticed that -wavonly is working now. I was getting sound glitches before. Did you look into this, or is it just coincidence that it's working now.

What are some more commands for lighting effects? When I turn gl_flashblend on, it makes the rocket glow look very strange.

            Here it is in proquake:

And here it is in Qrack:
            http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...4/qrack005.jpg

How can i get the Qrack version to look like the proquake one?

You might have coronas turned on. try gl_coronas 0 or gl_corona 0. If not one of those, look around in the menus for it.

yah, gl_coronas didn't do anything w/ regards to the rocket glow. I'm trying to get the glowing/lighting effects to look like glquake. right now i have r_dynamic on, not sure if that's right, but when it's off I don't see any glow from quad damage or rockets...

i have gl_flashblend 1 for both cases. My question is, why does gl_flashblend 1 in Qrack make it look like a big yellow ball?

I know gl_flashblend 1 is at least available in Qrack, but is not something ever recommended and just a left over.

gl_flashblend 1 looks terrible in Qrack, bad enough that I do not believe it is seriously meant to be used.

True, for me on old glquake flashblend would render glows faster than dynamic lights, so I guess that's why its there, legacy command.

honestly, i don't use gl_flashblend 1 in glquake/proquake/qrack, however the reasoning behind this question was twofold:

1)I was simply curious as to why there was such an obvious difference.
2)I am trying to get the glowing effects from r_dynamic 1 to match that of glquake/proquake and I was playing around with gl_flashblend and thought that there might be a correlation between these two things.

So, I was wondering if there was anyway to fix the transparent sbar bug. The bug I am referring to is the one where if you size down to a screensize of less than 100 or if you use cl_sbar 1, the sbar texture glitches and does not work properly. I realize that this is due to using the transparent sbar.png texture, so is there a way to make the ibar transparent without using the required texture?

Edit: Nevermind, it was the custom sbar.png that i was using.

There is a bug with the teamscores in the ibar. When a player has a negative score in a match in crmod, his score shows up as 255 rather than -1, for example.
