i tried that too with the compatability mode, it didn't work for me, also my backed up quake folder the one i copyed to my flash drive before installing dp, was doing the same thing for qrack and proquake as the one with dp installed, thank god i had an extra old skool back up of my quake folder from back in 08 or 09, it works but playing off my flash drive is sooo slow!! it has to be something simple and easy to fix because dp just goes in the folder with everything else with a sub for its stuff, also i tried reinstalling qrack and proquake still nothing.

It could be the different versions of the .dll files. Libcurl might be the culprit.
I should try to move it to the /Qrack folder...

Hey Rook, I need your help please. I am using the pak1 textures which I really like on my weapons. but I lost my reforged bestiary skins after that. Is there any way to have both, or is the pak file always going to take the lead. I miss my reforged monsters.

Use "-game id1" that will force Qrack to use /ID1 as the base folder like everyone else, NOT the /Qrack folder as the 1st place to look for media.

I have a question, I load up Qrack, and the screen is all distorted. Im using Radion 4800 or maybe 4850 GFX card(ati drivers ofc) I have the latest driver for it. I'm wondering if theres a way anyone can help me fix it?

i got one for ya rook, should be an easy one for ya, i cant load qrack, it's the gfx.wad error.

make sure u install Qrack in the /Quake folder
it should look like
/Quake

Pak0.pak is not a pak file..

qrack is the only engine that reads quake/qrack/pak0.pak

The /Qrack/ portion is just a "forced" gamedir. As with other engines multiple -game "blah" adds to the hierarchy of the path. Qrack just forces the "/Qrack folder on top" if no -game is specified. EngineX, JoeQuake and FuhQuake do the same thing.

If you use pakscape make sure you save your pak file as Quake pak file, not a Daikatana pak file. I think if you just select save as, pak0.pak it defaults to the Daikatana as it's higher on the alphabetical list.
