    I don't want any confusion between the 2 and eventually this will have a different name. This is one reason why I have the exe names different as well.

    But the figuring out a name is very unimportant to me compared to working on the code.

              Nice observation. It doesn't freeze your computer in 3.79, there is a floor of the frame rate of 10 which is rather slow.

              I hadn't thought of someone accidentally setting it to zero.

                in ezquake, setting it to 0 actually makes it unlimited. Also, they floor it at 30 FSP...not that you need to copy them. But, I do like the idea of 0=infinite (that's why i've tried it b4).

                  I got irritated that 8 mouse buttons work seamlessly and instantly in a couple of QW engines, but don't seem to work -- at least for me -- in Qrack or JoeQuake (or DarkPlaces) and in order for me to add 8 mouse button support to other engines I have to determine how it/why it works.

                  I tried adding code to make this work in JoeQuake 0.14 and one thing after another I ended up making a ton of changes to JoeQuake along the theme of the "updated" ProQuake and also importing some features from other engines like r_viewmodeloffset (I love that feature developed in FTEQW, every "fancy" engine should have that).

                  /Note: There is also now a completed FitzProQuake with every feature that this "ProQuake" project has. Eventually I'll release it.

                    nice work. but geez those are the most hideous textures i've ever seen. Those put shame to quake. seriously.

                    Doesn't DP have 10-button mouse support or something like that ??

                      those are probably from the SYNQ (or whatever it was called) project which Baker was also in charge of. ;P Can anyone say awkward?

                                Stung, have u tried -zone 1024 yet?? maybe that will help the alias for the commands?
